Punjab and Sindh Bank Recruitment 2024
Punjab & Sind Bank invites applications from Indian citizens for the appointment of Apprentice. Candidates are advised to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria before applying.
Ability
Candidates must have regular bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Proficiency in the local language (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) of the concerned State/Union Territory is required. Applicants must provide 8th, 10th, 12th or graduation level marksheet or certificate to demonstrate proficiency in the local language.
Those with postgraduate qualifications are ineligible for apprenticeship training, and applicants with one year or more of work experience cannot apply.
Additionally, candidates must not have completed five years after passing their qualifying examination.
age limit
The minimum age for applicants is 20 years and maximum age is 28 years as on the cut-off date. Relaxation in upper age limit will be provided for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.
application fee
The application fee is as follows:
- SC/ST/PWD Candidates: ₹100 + Applicable Taxes + Payment Gateway Fee
- General, EWS and OBC candidates: ₹200 + applicable taxes + payment gateway fee
Candidates are responsible to cover any bank transaction charges associated with online payment of application fee and intimation charges.
selection process
Final selection will be dependent on eligibility for the post and information provided in the online application as well as confirmation of eligibility based on HSC/10+2 marks.
Candidates have to mention their selected state and district in the application. A merit list will be prepared state wise, district wise and category wise.
Candidates who satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria will be ranked according to 10+2 marks in descending order within their respective category, state and district. In case of tie in cutoff marks, candidates will be ranked on the basis of age, with older candidates getting higher ranks in their respective category, state and district.

Eligible candidates are required to apply online exclusively through the Bank’s website https://punjabandsindbank.co.in/. No other application method will be accepted. The last date for online application is October 31, 2024. Applications received after this date or incomplete will be rejected. The Bank will not be responsible for any delay in receipt of the application.
