- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 5 km run in 24 minutes
- Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Height: 170 cm
- Chest: 80-85 centimeters (expansion of at least 5 centimeters)
- Weight: Should be in proportion to height and age.

- For SC/ST/ESM candidates: no fee
