The School Education Department of Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to provide bicycles to the students of 4 lakh 50 thousand government schools under the Free Bicycle Supply Scheme for the year 2024-25. The main objective of this scheme is to provide facilities in studies to the students living in rural and remote areas.
Eligibility and Benefits of the Scheme
Under this scheme, students taking admission in class 6 and class 9 will be given free bicycles. Special attention has been given to those girl students whose distance between their hostel and government school is 2 kilometers or more. Last year, cycles were provided to 4 lakh 7 thousand students under this scheme.
Departmental officials have been directed to ensure that the quality of the cycles is of high standard and the cycles given to the students are strong and durable, so that they can use them for a long time.

District Employment Officer of Bhopal has informed that a one-day employment fair will be organized in Bhopal on 25th September. This fair will be held at 10 am in the District Employment Office premises, Idgah Hills.
