Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) seeks to appoint graduate engineers with exceptional track record as Project Engineers on contract basis. The purpose of these posts is to support the implementation of various energy efficiency programs and activities initiated under the EC Act 2001. Below are the details of the available posts:

Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) intends to appoint 08 Project Engineers on contract basis.
Essential Educational Qualification
Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. Additionally, they must have passed the GATE exam in the last two years (2023 and 2024).
Desirable Qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering or postgraduate qualification in relevant discipline with comprehensive understanding of national energy programs and policies focusing on energy efficiency and conservation.
Experience: Minimum of one year experience in research, development, design, academic institutions, government departments, or organizations dealing with energy efficiency, energy conservation, energy audit, or similar areas is required.
pay scale
- Contract Amount: Consolidated monthly salary for initial appointment will be ₹60,000.
- Other Allowances: Since the appointment is purely on contract basis, the candidates will not be entitled to any allowances or benefits usually given to regular employees of BEE.
age limit
The maximum age limit is 27 years as on the date of publication of advertisement in employment newspaper. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be provided as per government rules.
selection process
Candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted on the basis of merit. Those deemed eligible during the screening process will be invited for an interview. Selected candidates will be appointed purely on contract basis, they will not have any right for regular employment in BEE.
