Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2024
Bank of Baroda, a Government of India Enterprise, invites offline applications from interested candidates for the post of Business Correspondent (BC) Coordinator on contract basis in Godhra Region, Gujarat.
Eligible candidates include ex-bankers, retired clerks up to Chief Manager post of any PSU Bank and graduates with computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.). Preference will be given to those having qualifications like MSc (IT), BE (IT), MCA or MBA. Candidates should also be proficient in reading and writing in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
Ability
For retired bank employees:
- Retired officers up to the rank of Chief Manager/equivalent (including voluntarily retired) from any PSU, RRB, Private Banks or Cooperative Banks are eligible for appointment.
- Retired clerk from Bank of Baroda or equivalent who has qualified JAIIB with good track record can also apply.
- All retired bank employee applicants must have minimum 3 years of rural banking experience.
For Young Candidates:
- Candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s degree as well as computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, Internet etc.). Preference will be given to those having qualifications like M.Sc. (IT), BE (IT), MCA, or MBA.
pay scale
BC Coordinators will receive structured monthly remuneration with both fixed and variable components:
- Fixed components: ₹15,000
- Variable components: ₹10,000
The performance of BC Coordinators will be evaluated monthly based on various parameters affecting the payment of variable remuneration. The Financial Inclusion Committee will determine these parameters based on ongoing business needs.
age limit
For retired bank employees: The maximum age to continue as BC Coordinator is 65 years.
For Young Candidates: The age of the applicants should be between 21 to 45 years at the time of appointment, the maximum age to continue as BC Coordinator is also fixed at 65 years.
selection process
The selection process will include interviews conducted by a committee headed by the Regional Head. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their merit, and the selected ones will be informed to attend the interview in due course of time.
